  1. RemoteDataBar is an ActiveX 
  2.             control that lets applications access data stored in a remote OLE DB 
  3.             (ADO) data source. It allows you to bind controls at design time (or 
  4.             run time) to a data source "over the Web". The protocols supported 
  5.             are HTTP, HTTPS, and DCOM. RemoteDataBar is simple to install and 
  6.             use, has sophisticated multi-user features, and is highly scalable 
  7.             in an enterprise environment. An associated ActiveX DLL provides 
  8.             unbound access to data through ADO recordsets, SQL queries, and 
  9.             stored procedures.
